Hard Ball Press Home of the Working Class Writers
|
There are so many fine writers who imbue their work with the experience of working on the
line...In the mines...in the fields. Many have gone out of print or are hard to find. Those that are
available from university presses are often sold for a high price.
Hard Ball Press is dedicating itself to returning to print outstanding writers whose work is as
timely, moving and exciting today as it was when they first came into print. Some are
contemporary, others were published as long ago as 1900. All deserve to be read by the
current generation.
All the books will be available in trade paperback format for $15.00 or less. They will be
distributed through the major supply chains and can be ordered from Amazon, Powels, Union
Communication, Barnes & Noble, and, most important, from your local independent book seller.
Be patient, there are more books on the way. Good things come to those who wait...and edit
old texts.
Timothy Sheard, editor.

Relying on his on his experience covering the clandestine
CIA-controlled war against the Afghanistan government in
the 1970's and 80's for the Daily World, Philip Bonosky
uncovers the bare faced lies of the US government and the
duplicity of the "free press." He also vividly describes the
tremendous efforts of the Soviet Union to free the people of
Afghanistan from their centuries-old feudal landlords and
religious autocrats.
